How You Can Help

Picture

Share a gift of time, funds, or supplies today.

Your financial gift will support the many programs and services of Family Promise of Lima-Allen County:  client transportation, job search tools, meals, connecting clients to social services, and support staff. Through your generosity, Family Promise of Lima-Allen County continues to serve homeless families with children throughout Allen County.

Looking for a project for your club, Sunday school class or other group?  Family Promise needs supplies for our families when they are at the Day Center. We have also put together several wish lists for our families as they enter our program and as they complete our program and move into their new home. To see our Wish Lists, click HERE.

Volunteers are the heart of the network; without them, it cannot exist. We train volunteers to help at-risk families achieve goals and maintain self-sufficiency. Volunteers at the host churches provide a variety of services including cooking and serving meals, playing with children or helping them with homework and staying overnight with the families. Volunteers interact with the guests at the host churches, treating them with respect and responding with compassion. For more information about how you can volunteer in a host church or for the Day Center, c
